Seventeen (17) locations were identified in the Eastern area of Nebraska. In total 127 tablets were procured, imaged, and deployed. The Site Support teams quickly switched gears to organize the imaging of all equipment, test the usage scenarios that would be used in the field, document the configurations, usage and troubleshooting for the DHHS staff manning the sites. Staff were organized to deploy and setup the sites, provide training with key staff, and provide after hours support. This would have not been possible without the dedication of staff on Site Support and Logistics.

ED TONER with MATT BIZAL (BYE-SAL), LANA BROX, ZALE CONNELL, TANNER CRANE, BOB HOWARD, JULIE KORTUS, SHAWN MICHAUD (ME-SHOO), AND MIKE OLSONThe OCIO is transitioning to using Allo as a phone carrier. There were many challenges on this project as requirements continually changed. There were some difficulties with working with the billing file from Allo. The team, which was headed up by Lana Brox and Tanner Crane (on the development side), was able to get all the changes made so that the first billing could be processed on time. The following is from Lana Brox: Special thanks to Tanner and Co. This was not an easy project. We kept changing the requirements on you and it kept growing on us as we progressed through all of the steps. The final result is just what we asked for and it will help us validate our invoices much easier. You made everything appear on the IBT just like our other files that we process electronically with very few questions. I know you are super busy and this project ran over as far as the timeframes we had anticipated. Thank you for sticking with it and getting done for us. The timing of it all is perfect as we just received our first electronic file this month with production service on it. To the customer it will be a seamless change billing wise for them. One less worry for the customer as they transition to new service and it makes the OCIO look good. Thanks to all of you.

Laurie led her team to accomplish all of the billing changes needed prior to the first billing cycle. Due to this effort, the Voice Team will be able to validate their invoices much easier. This has been incredible customer service not only to the project team, but to the final customer.

ROBERT SPIRE

ED TONER with ROBERT SPIREEd I want to thank you and your ECM team for the December, 2018 successful launch of the Department’s LB 403 Verification project. In particular, the effort, advice, persistence and perspective of Bob Spire has been very valuable to the Department and this project. I highly commend Bob’s commitment to the successful completion of this project. The launch has been met by very favorable reviews by our customers in the securities industry; furthermore, the successful launch will result in a reduction in errors, backlogs and time expended by Department employees on citizenship verification for our licensees. Thank you once again for making this project a reality. Sincerely, Mark Quandahl Director Department of Banking and Finance.

PAM KEMPER, TAMMY RUPE, AND MARK MULLANEY

ED TONER with PAM KEMPER, TAMMY RUPE, AND MARK MULLANEYThe Public Safety Team has recently started holding locally focused System User Group meetings. In early December one was held in Taylor, NE. Representatives from NSP and a local public safety entity stated that the OCIO ran extremely focused on-point meetings while providing good information regarding interoperability, new tools that were available and the Statewide Radio System (SRS). The impact of coming out to the regions to discussion regional needs is invaluable as not all users of the SRS are in Lincoln.
