State statute requires the Office of the CIO to provide for a system of charges for services rendered; that; as nearly as may be practical, reflect the actual costs incurred in the performance of services… [Sections 81-1117(g), 81-1120.22, 86-564(d), and 86-5,100.]
Because of these statutory directives, the Office of the CIO depends on billings to customers to recover 100% of the costs of services. The Office of the CIO and AS-Central Services strive to provide accurate billing and to resolve customer inquiries promptly.
