The Office of the CIO Service Desk provides a single point of contact for all State of Nebraska employees needing services from the Office of the CIO. This is done utilizing the State’s Service Portal which allows for an efficient and effective flow of information from requestor to provider. Service Desk staff processes these requests using industry best practices and standards.
The Service Desk staff has over 90 years of combined experience working for the State of Nebraska. With that level of experience, combined with enterprise tools, the Office of the CIO is able to reliably complete or resolve 80% of these requests in 24 hours or less. This translates into State of Nebraska staff utilizing our services to be productive and efficient themselves.
