Due to the security requirements of the Enterprise VPN, external stakeholders found themselves spending an additional 10-15% of increased work time, which could have a monetary impact of $3-$4.65 million per year. The OCIO team architected, built, tested and implemented a RemoteApp service which allows NDOT contractors and consultants to do their assigned work efficiently in a secure environment. Using this service, NDOT will avoid the $3-$4.65 million impact to contracted services.

Jordan recently completed a CONNECT enhancement that required an interface with the DHHS N-FOCUS computer system and the display of a PDF completed by DHHS Division of Children and Family Services personnel. The enhancement was complex and required considerable testing before it went into production. Comment from Julie Richter, DHHS, “Jordan persevered and accomplished the enhancement which will improve the Early Development Network's ability to receive referrals more timely for some of Nebraska's most vulnerable infants and toddlers whose families are engaged with the child protective services system.”
