ROSE MACKEY

Rose Mackey has gone above and beyond in assisting the Foster Care Review Board to have a usable dynamic database on which to store and retrieve data related to children in foster care or children placed outside the parental home by the Juvenile Justice system. She has generously given of her time and expertise to help us take advantage of new technological possibilities, she asked appropriate questions, caught some inconsistencies, and assisted with getting data mapped for retrieval. Throughout the project she was available when questions arose, and very pleasant to work with. She embodies excellence in State employees.

LINDA HARVEY

Linda Harvey has been a crucial resource to the AIX Migration to Windows project where we are moving our most mission-critical application, the UI Benefit Payment System, to Windows. She has prepared the entire environment and worked in lock step with our application developers on issue resolution, escalating as required and involving others on Jim’s team when necessary. This project will resolve a critical finding with the IRS within a week or two of their visit. It will also result in significant savings for Labor, eliminating costly hardware, licensing, and our Managed Service Agreement with Sirius.

Jon and Rick, thank you both for all the hard work you put in to prepare for and participate in the review. Jim, please accept my compliments to your staff for all they did to make this review successful. They have been great to work with and worked especially hard to get Nessus installed and scans completed in a very short timeframe.

The IRS auditors were in our office this week meeting with several teams. I would like to thank Drea Robbins for her last minute assistance with escorting these auditors around the building. During the IRS closing conference meeting, all of the auditors mentioned how much they appreciated the help they received being escorted around the building as they were conducting their review. Drea's help was a key part of this success! THANK YOU!!! Jim

In appreciation for the support provided by his team over the past several months. The team assisted the Department of Labor with their IRS reviews. In addition, the team served as a resource to the AIX Migration to Windows moving the Unemployment Benefit Payment System to Windows. Terri Slone, Department of Labor, commented, "We appreciate Jim and these team members."
