The Office of the CIO Service Desk provides a single point of contact for the Office of the CIO. This is primarily done by utilizing the State’s Service Portal which allows for an efficient and effective flow of information between requestor and provider. Service Desk staff processes these requests using industry best standards and practices for service management. We work hard to ensure each request is handled as efficiently and effectively as possible.

The Service Desk staff currently has over 70 years of combined experience working for the State of Nebraska. With this level of experience and knowledge combined with enterprise tools, the Office of the CIO is able to reliably complete 80% of our thousands of requests in 24 hours or less each month. This translates into the State of Nebraska staff, who utilize Office of the CIO services, being more productive and efficient themselves.
