The scheduling and automation unit sets up processing schedules for over forty thousand batch jobs each month and the associated report production for agency systems. They oversee the introduction of changes to all the services we support to ensure that services are available to our customers as scheduled. The group also provides automation routines so that complex operations can be performed with greater consistency and reliability. This group is also responsible for determining the automation software requirement needs concerning job scheduling, job documentation, report distribution, and automatic job restart, including the acquisition, implementation, and maintenance of the third-party vendor software that supports these requirements.
